Piece by Piece: Our New Community Jigsaw Project
We have started a new community jigsaw puzzle project!
Pop in, grab a drink, and add a few pieces to the puzzle. You can have a chat, meet others, or simply enjoy some quiet time while you piece it together.
No pressure, no need to finish it — just come along, take a moment, and add your piece. One puzzle, one community, one piece at a time

Some new artwork
One of our very talented customers Rae has painted us this fantastic bit of artwork at the front of the cafe. It was great watching them work and seeing all of the planning and preparation involved. We cant wait to get more artwork added around the rest of the Pillar once Rae has finished the designs. We shared an awesome video of the process on Facebook which you can check out here

A tidier frontage for the cafe
We’re so excited to have given our shop frontage and signage a tidier look!
This was made possible thanks to the amazing generosity of our customers, whose donations helped make it happen. We’re incredibly grateful for your continued support of Bake Battle Roll CIC.

Community groups celebration event at the Mansion house
On Saturday we were invited to the mansion house for a community groups and volunteer celebration event by some of the town ward councillors. We got to have a chat with the civic mayor, have a tour of the Mansion house and network with other lovely people.
We love being able to support our community and provide a safe and welcoming space in the city centre, we will continue to do our best to be as supportive as we can over the coming years and really appreciate the support we receive to be able to do this
