Neurodiversity/Additional needs

A Welcoming Space for Neurodiverse Visitors and People with Additional Needs

At Bake Battle Roll CIC, we know that everyone experiences the world in their own way — and we’re committed to making our café a place where people with neurodiversities and additional needs feel truly welcome, safe, and included.

We understand that sometimes small adjustments can make a big difference. That’s why we’re always happy to tailor your visit to suit your needs. Whether that means turning down or switching off background music, seating you in a quieter spot away from others, or offering the use of our private side room (when available), we’ll do our best to create a space where you feel comfortable and supported.

We host a weekly session every Thursday from 1pm to 4pm, specifically for people with additional needs. During this time, carers are welcome to play for free, but this isn’t the only time neurodiverse visitors are welcome — you’re invited to come and enjoy the café at any time that works best for you.

As a community interest company, inclusion is at the heart of what we do. Bake Battle Roll is co-owned by James and Rachel, who are both neurodiverse themselves. Their lived experience brings an extra level of understanding and compassion to the café, and they’re always on hand to help make your visit as enjoyable as possible.

Whether you’re here for a quiet game, a friendly chat, or to be part of our vibrant gaming community — we’re here to make sure you feel at home.
